Current services include:

• Weekly pick up of your roll out cart with up to four extra trash bags, yard waste bags, or bundles of tree, shrub and brush trimmings on Wednesdays. The four extra bags or bundles may be placed in a generic container or placed at the curb with the TDS container(s). Brush bundles should be no longer than four feet long and weigh no more than 30 pounds. Bundles must be secured tightly.
  

• Bi-weekly recycling service on Wednesdays.
• Curbside Pickup - Call TDS at 1-884-873-7734 for curbside pick up of bulky waste up to three times per year 
• Community Bulk Trash Drop-Off - Two events per year (Fall/Spring)

Residents can call Texas Disposal Systems (TDS) for curbside pick up of bulky waste up to three times per year at no additional charge. To take advantage of this service, call TDS at 1-884-873-7734.

When you call to schedule a pick up, you will be given a date (the first available Wednesday) for pickup of your bulky waste at the curb right in front of your home! Residents should not place items at the curb prior to the morning of the scheduled pick up date. Household waste items that were accepted at the previous Large Item Trash Days at Jumano Park will be picked up at your curb. Exclusions also remain the same: no construction debris, no hazardous materials, no appliances containing Freon, etc.

If you are unsure about specific items that you need to dispose of, please call TDS at 1-884-873-7734. If TDS will not accept your waste, there are other options available to you. The Williamson County Recycle Center accepts household waste, including these hazardous chemicals, many of which are reused or recycled through their Reuse Program.

Bulky Item Curbside Pickup Guidelines

Texas Disposal System (TDS) includes a surcharge for discarded mattresses to be as a environmentally friendly as possible. The charge will be directed to the resident. The surcharge will be on a sliding scale according to size, from twin size to king size.

 Residents will call in mattress collections just as they would bulk pick-ups. The resident will then coordinate with the customer car representative when want to have it collected, and the transaction will take place at that time.

 Fees

$25 - Twin, Full & Queen size mattresses, an additional $25 for each box spring or platform

$50 - King size mattresses, an additional $50 for each king-sized box spring or platform.

Community Cleanup Days are back twice a year at Jumano Park!

The Community Cleanup Day will be held on June 27, 2020 from 9 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. at Jumano Park, 3101 Blockhouse Dr. There is limited space in the TDS refuge containers so this event will be on a first-come first-served basis - - be prepared to be turned away if all containers are full. Please be in line by 1:30 p.m.

Items Allowed: sofas, stoves, refrigerators, water tanks, washing machines, dryers, A/C units, sinks, toilets, furniture, and other waste materials (certified where applicable as Freon-free).

Items Prohibited: any hazardous items, chemical compounds, mixtures, or substances - no paints, motor oils, gasoline, mattresses, box springs or tires, no construction debris and no appliances containing Freon (Please note: No commercial contractors are allowed).

A picture ID along with a recent copy of your water utility bill from Crossroads Utilities. District patrol officers will be checking IDs/billing statements and identifying the types of waste being disposed. If TDS will not accept your waste, there are other options available. The Williamson County Recycle Center accepts household waste including these hazardous chemicals. The County also hosts a twice-a-year Household Hazardous Waste Collection for residents of Williamson County at a designated location in the County, Please visit the County’s website for more information about this event. MUD residents will still be able to use curbside pickup of bulky waste up to three times per year by contacting TDS at 1-884-873-7734 and requesting the service.
